Lightbulb 2 good farming places

Hey everyone! I thought some of you people need help with your farming and stuff, i recommend these farming places for warrior/monk. Here is what i have eqiuped on my skill bar for the first thing :

Cyclone axe, penetrating blow, executioners strike, gladiators defence, bonettis defence, healing signet (you can take healing breez either), Live vicaoursly and last mending.

Unfortulantly i can´t set up any pictures of the area im farming in right now becuse im doing this post in my school, but i will do it later, maybe!

And yes you must have a axe if your gonna farm like i do

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I recommend this Attribute setup when farming:

Healing prayer´s: 9

Smithing prayer´s: 0 (prot prayers, hammer mast and sword mast shall also be 0)

Strenght: 6 (im not sure, i will check when i come home from school)

Axe mastery: 11

Tactics: 10 ( i have a superior tactics rune on 1 of my armor parts so i can have higher tactics which is 13)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

One of the places im farming is outside Dunes of despair. I farm mostly griffons but sometimes skeletons to. (it depends how good you are with using the skills the right way). Anyway´s it´s about 20 griffons in the area that you will be able to handle easy if you have the skills that i wrote.

And the other place is outside Droknar´s forge in a cave. In there is about 15 trolls which are lv 24. I recommend pulling half of them at one time if possible becuse otherwise you could end up dead.

If you have trouble finding the places that i wrote about you can add me as a friend at guild wars and i will help you.

My name in Guild wars is Specimen cutter.

Anybody is free to ask question´s to of course.

Bye bye.

Ok, here goes:

Why 9 in healing? If you're using mending, the breakpoints are 3, 8, and 13, so 9 is only valuable when using Mending + Healing Breeze to achieve max hp regen.

I'm not quite familiar with your first farming location but I think a lot of people are familiar with the second.

A word of advice to those using the second one: Find a skill in the build you don't need and replace it with Sprint to get past the avicara.

If you are sprinting past the Avicara instead of fighting them (I reccomend that you do not fight them, it would be quite irritating for a warrior to do so), only apply your enchantments when you are away from them (when they have stopped following you) and you are ready to enter the cave.

The extra point on Healing prayers is if you use healing breeze instead of healing signet. It will get upgraded with 1 point if you have 9 that is.

Skeletons?... I didn't know there were skeletons in GW... If you bring healing breeze you won't have enough energy for it either.. Why not something with Balthazar's Spirit + Essence Bond + Healing Hands + Healing Breeze. That way you keep your energy up and can heal more. Otherwise with no energy regain you're dead in the water if you get over rushed.

That what you use Bonettis defence for. If you start figting you first use Gladiators defence and when it almost is over (about 2-3 second left) you use cyclone axe so you have just enough adrenaline to use Bonettis defence. Then you go on like that untill all enemys are dead. If you don´t belive me i can show you how i do it. Oh yeah and when i mean skeletons it´s those dead soldiers with no flesh and all that guggy. Besides you only use healing breeze in a emergency.

by skeletons i think he is refering to the enchanted sword/hammer/bow.

also the troll cave is old and is more of a xp farm than a wealth farm nowadays.

i do the other spot with my wammo and 55 monk and i farm/kill everything in that zone except the giants and wurms.although i would advise you stay away from the scarab pop up points (once you learn where they are) if playing as 55'er unless you are experianced enougth to handle degen monsters with your 55 build.

Troll Build (Can handle Avicara outside)

Attributes (I believe this is the setup I used, I'm currently unable to check):
Strength - 11+3+1
Axe Mastery - 10+1
Healing Prayers - 9
Tactics - 6+1

Skills:
Cleave{E}
Cyclone Axe
Flurry (Can use Frenzy but you take 50 per Mighty Blow and can't handle the entire cave)
Dolyak Signet
"Watch Yourself!"
Vigorous Spirit
Live Vicariously
-Empty-

Equipment:
Zealous Axe of Defense (Any suffix mod will suffice but I prefer Defense for PvE)
Enchanted or Stance +45hp -2dmg Shield
Gladiator's Chest, Arms, and Legs with Knight's or Ascalon Boots for armor setup.

Dolyak Signet and "Watch Yourself!" give you 160AL vs. physical attacks (165 with a Defense weapon) which is enough to take no damage at all from normal attacks. You only take 25 max from a Mighty Blow. This build is capable of taking the Avicara outside the cave so no speed stance is needed to get past them.

Only use Cleave{E} while you have Flurry up so that trolls wont try and Disrupting Chop it. Be careful because if Cyclone Axe gets chopped then you most likely can't maintain the healing to stay alive. You can take them with 15% DP though as long as you managed to kill a few.

Happy farming.

For Dunes of Despair, the way to get to the griffons is take the teleport right next to the exit of Dunes. Hopefully there's only 1 Bow there. Kill the enchanteds and teleport. Then just take a left and kill all the griffons.

You should have no problem with the Wurms as a 55 monk. Sand Giants can be tricky if more than two Devourers pop up with them and interrupt you. You can kill everything except the scarabs with a 55 monk.

Alright guys for your information, i don't help people with this kind of stuff anymore. These days i mostly play wow but i do still play gw.

But when i do play gw, i only do ab and nothing else.. so if you want someone to teach you how to farm - ask someone else.
